Journal of the Linguistic Association of Pakistan
In the previous years, the Linguistic Association of Pakistan (LAP) has been publishing the Pakistan Journal of Language. Three volumes of the journal were published in 1990s and the other two were published in the first decade of the new millennium. Its publication, however, has been discontinued since 2007 due to some managerial and financial problems.
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) asks for 5 volumes of an old annual journal for the last five (consecutive) years for its recognition and approval. As such copies for the Pakistan Journal of Language are not available, a new journal of the association will be launched. The name of the new journal is simply suggested as the Journal of the Linguistic Association of Pakistan (JoLAP).
Each year, after the ICLAP conference is successfully over, the participants would be asked to send their full papers for publishing in the Journal of the Linguistic Association of Pakistan. The papers will be sent for blind review before their publication.
